| Yasmina, sometimes known as 'The English Rose of Cairo', has over
twenty-five years of experience in the field of Egyptian oriental dance as a
performer, teacher and choreographer. Originally from the UK she spent many
years travelling and dancing her way around the Middle East before settling in
Cairo in 1995. Here she performed for many years with her orchestra, becoming
one of the city's best-loved dancers. Cairo is still Yasmina's home, where she
hosts dancers and dance groups from around the world and provides services
ranging from accommodation, choreography, training and coaching in oriental
dance, to publicity photography and music production. |

Entertainment section
Yasmina provides unique hospitality and first class entertainment at her home
beside the pyramids, for groups visiting Cairo. Home cooked food, live music
and both folkloric and belly dance is provided during her 'party nights',
bookable for a minimum of twelve persons. She can also arrange parties in
alternative locations with similar entertainment, and for visiting dancers it's
a great opportunity to dance to live music in a relaxed and non-public

Video Production 
NEW SERVICE Video Production If you have ever thought of promoting yourself or
your dance troupe with a show-reel or video-clip, or would simply like a
memento of yourself dancing in Egypt, Yasmina offers this unique opportunity.
The costs involved in producing even a small clip in the west are prohibitive,
but here in Cairo all things are possible, even within a limited budget. We
have experience at finding affordable locations, and can also offer reasonably
priced editing.

Whether youre interested in recording a complete CD, single tracks, or samples,
we can help you book studios at a range of prices, choose musicians and see the

different kinds, whether you want Arabic lessons, youre a foreign journalist

There are no shortage of local travel agents to help you get to any of the
traditional tourist spots, but we know of a few off-the-beaten-track adventures
that arent quite so easy to find, or arrange. Blend into the crowd and soak up
the atmosphere at a traditional moulid (Sufi religious festival), feast your
eyes on the worlds most beautiful Arabian horses at a dancing horse
championship, or chill out in a private eco-hideaway near the ancient pyramids
